Diptych solution - landscape revisited
Something was bugging me about the original painting. Here’s my solution (a little colour adjustment and a lot of cropping):
Now I am happy, and you, the viewing audience are privy to the story of this painting. If you see one hanging on a wall you can say, “I saw that painting before it was lopped in two!” and the townsfolk will rejoice.
Pixelake landscape
Environment painting incorporating a pixelly collage technique. Could be considered a follow up to some things I tried about a year ago.
Aiming for a piece that almost reads as the original painting except for a few little ‘glitches’.
Lacrosse player portrait
A portrait for the family I’m staying with. Their eldest son plays Lacrosse.
Digital revision!
Messed a lot with the value structure of this piece. It’s still very graphic, but more readable than the ink version.
