Abstract landscape for Solar Barge booklet

In March 2010 I curated a group exhibition called Mythology.
After we’d started spreading the word I was contacted by Lyndon Blue, who performs as Solar Barge and plays Egyptian influenced, ambient post-rock with a loop pedal. He was volunteering to play at the exhibition opening, and after hearing his music I was keen to get him onboard. It really complimented what we were going for, and ended up being an awesome addition to the atmosphere on the day.
Almost a year later Lyndon put the callout for an ambitious project. He wanted a range of artists to illustrate scenes for a narrative booklet on the Solar Barge. Long story short, I took the establishing scene and have done this simple, abstract landscape combining elements of the pyramids, the blue lotus and chaos.
